TYPES of Cyberbullying
Harassment: repeatedly sending offensive messages and threats
Denigration: Spreading rumors, posting gossips or false information to damage a person's reputation or disrupt their friendships or relationships
Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else and posting material to damage that person's reputation
Outing & Trickery: Sharing & disseminating someones secrets and intimate private information, which are potentially embarrassing, or talking someone into disclosing private information, which is then disseminated.
Exclusion & Isolation: Intentionally excluding someone from an online group

Statistics
The 2008–2009 School Crime Supplement (National Center for Education Statistics and Bureau of Justice Statistics) indicates that 6% of students in grades 6–12 experienced cyberbullying.
The 2011 Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance Survey finds that 16% of high school students (grades 9-12) were electronically bullied in the past year.

There has been an increase in research that is being done on cyberbullying. This is becoming difficult because of how rapidly technology changes.

- Young people found to be twice as likely to be cyber bullied on Facebook as on any other social network
- 54% of young people using Facebook reported that they have experienced cyberbullying on the social network
- Facebook, Ask.FM and Twitter found to be the highest in traffic of all social networks
- Cyberbullying found to have catastrophic effects upon the self-esteem and social lives of up to 70% of young people

CYBERBULLYING ON GUAM
"Schools in Guam say there has been a massive decline in the number of reported bullying cases in the past four years.They say the number of cases reported has dropped by more than 80 per cent since 2010, from 930 to about 160 cases, after the introduction of student-led anti-bullying programs."
